Bruneians had the opportunity to view one of Kuala Lumpur's most exclusive properties through the 'Life in Sentul' roadshow held over the weekend at Sheraton Utama Hotel in the capital.

The roadshow, brought to the capital by YTL Land & Development Berhad, a subsidiary of YTL Corporations Berhad, presented Bruneians with the perfect opportunity to gain useful insights on 'The Maple', one of the developments available in Kuala Lumpur's highly competitive property market.

Speaking at the roadshow was Dato' Yeoh Seok Kian, the Deputy Managing Director of YTL Corporation Berhad, who pointed out that many Bruneians were keen to develop properties in Kuala Lumpur either for investment purposes or as a second home for their children studying there.

"We are now taking the initiative to bring Sentul to Bruneians, as we believe that we have fulfilled the key requirements of price, location and product that most property buyers seek," he said.

Situated on prime freehold land, just ten minutes from the city centre, The Maple borders The Park at Sentul West, a 35-acre private gated park, the first of its kind in Malaysia that nestles exclusive residences, offices and shops.

Inspiration for the design of The Maple is based on a fusion of contemporary yet tropical styles; two towering 30-storey blocks with a combined total of 318 units.

Each unit comes with three bedrooms and an additional utility room. With only six units per floor, privacy is a given. Available in three built up sizes - 1,535 sq feet to 1,707 sq feet - residents will also enjoy the Sky Terrace, larger than usual balconies that invite the outdoors into living spaces that are available with every unit.

Additionally, 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows surround each unit, turning walls into uninterrupted views of The Park at Sentul West and the Kuala Lumpur Skyline.

Offering a quality of life that is incomparable to any other development in Kuala Lumpur, residents of The Maple will have lifetime access to The Park at Sentul West. Residents of all ages will get to enjoy a host of activities like boating, camping, outdoor movies and concerts or even hold weddings.

In addition to this, residents will benefit from The Maple's premium outdoor amenities such as a 25-metre cantilevered infinity lap pool with Jacuzzi, a children's pool accompanied with a children's play area, two squash and tennis courts, and a basketball court. All these are set amidst open lush greenery that comprise of open lawns, a maze and four themed gardens.

The Maple follows the successful launch of Sentul's first product, The Tamarind at Sentul East, which was launched last year. It was an astounding success with 73 per cent out of 498 units sold within the first three months.

Covering 294 acres of prime freehold land, the master plan for Sentul, which comprises a mixed development of residential, offices and retail outlets, will be completed within seven to eight years.
