Sentul West set to welcome its latest resident – the Sentul Park Koi Centre!
If you are fan of the outdoors, have an interest in Koi fish, and will be in Kuala Lumpur this weekend, brace yourself – there is a fantastic event coming your way! The Sentul Park Koi Centre, the latest resident in YTL’s Sentul West development, will be open to the public and to celebrate its opening will be holding a slew of activities for all to enjoy.
Come witness 50 Koi hobbyists set up their display of prized specimens for the Malaysian Open Koi Championship 2006, who will battle it out for the Prime Minister’s Cup and the Ambassador’s Cup – an annual Koi competition open to all koi hobbyists in Malaysia.
More serious enthusiasts will also be able to enjoy several highly informative seminars by some of Japan’s top Koi breeders - Fujio Oomo, Makoto Tanaka, and Shigeru Mano who are but a few that have been specially invited to Malaysia for this event.
Koi accessory vendors will also be setting up their shop at the venue, with products and accessories for enthusiasts just starting out or serious ones looking to enhance their hobby. The highlight of the day will be an exclusive charity auction, where 100 Kois will be auctioned, and the proceeds donated to the Kiwanis chapter in Bangsar to aid their charitable services.
